On Monday, Chelsea supporters were understandably fired up on social networks when they saw the name of Vinicius Jr emerge among the targets of the winter transfer window. Several English media have, in fact, relayed information from Spain explaining that the Blues are about to splurge on the transfer market by trying to secure the services of the Brazilian star of Real Madrid, Vinicius Junior… for 155 million euros.

The Real Madrid winger, whose relationship is not at its best with Xabi Alonso, has not yet extended his contract and the question of a departure was quickly raised, in order to prevent the Merengue club from seeing him leave for free in 18 months. But this Tuesday, the Chiringuito quickly put an end to the rumors by assuring that the 25-year-old striker will not go to Chelsea. The Iberian broadcast specifies that a departure for the Blues was indeed an option, but the London club did not want to cover part of his salary.
