Luis Enrique will have to wait a long time to have his eleven on hand. While Achraf Hakimi returned to France after his epic journey with Morocco to the final of the African Cup of Nations, the Paris Saint-Germain will rely on a well-stocked squad for its penultimate League phase match, this Tuesday evening, in Lisbon, on the Sporting CP pitch (kick-off at 9 p.m.).
Already out against Lille, Joao Neves is the only executive missing with Hakimi. But two questions persist for the eleven concocted by Luis Enrique. The first concerns animation. After a much more promising half in 3-4-3 than the first act in 4-3-3 Friday evening against Lille (3-0), PSG has an interesting alternative on a tactical level. Luis Enrique should not, however, change his plans and keep his usual system, with Warren Zaire-Emery in a hybrid role who succeeds in his interim on the right side.
Luis Enrique is spoiled for choice
The other question concerns the attack, where Luis Enrique has almost all his offensive weapons. If Désiré Doué leaves with a head start over Bradley Barcola, the former Rennais will have an answer to give after several mixed performances, when his competitor turned the clock by coming off the bench a few days ago. Kvaratskhelia, who must also raise his level of play, should be present to support Ousmane Dembélé in full revival. Small uncertainty in the midfield as well, where Mayulu could continue despite a less sparkling performance. The central hinge Marquinhos-Pacho is expected, as is the inevitable Nuno Mendes, who will return to his training club. Chevalier will hold his place in the goals.
The expected lineup for PSG: Knight; Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Nuno Mendes; Mayulu, Ruiz, Vitinha; Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé, Gifted.
