Roma: an Italian big name wants Artem Dovbyk

The Lorenzo Lucca file is starting to accelerate in Naples. The Italian striker is attracting growing interest from Benfica, with initial contacts deemed positive between the different parties. A situation which is already pushing Napoli to plan on the attackers’ market this winter, aware that a departure of the former Udinese player to Lisbon is a real possibility.

With this in mind, the Neapolitan club is seriously studying the path leading to Artem Dovbyk, according to Sky Sports. The 28-year-old Ukrainian striker is one of the most appreciated profiles internally to strengthen the offensive sector, in the form of a loan. Appreciated by both Antonio Conte and sporting director Giovanni Manna, Dovbyk would today feel behind in the AS Roma project and could therefore be open to a departure.
