Roma enforced the hierarchy on the Lecce pitch by winning (2-0). Well organized in its 3-4-1-2, Gian Piero Gasperini’s team quickly took the lead thanks to Evan Ferguson, who scored in the 14th minute, bringing to fruition a serious and controlled start for the Giallorossi against a willing Lecce.

The Salentins tried to react, notably through the wings with Banda and Sottil, without really worrying Svilar. Stronger collectively and better technically armed, the Romans definitively folded the match in the second half with Artem Dovbyk’s goal in the 71st minute. A clean and efficient success for Roma, fourth, which confirms its dynamic, while Lecce leaves frustrated despite an overall courageous performance at home.
