Two goals scored by Min-Jae (71st) and Karl (84th) at the end of the match allowed the Bavarians to win 3-1 and take an 11-point lead over the runner-up, Borussia Dortmund.
The two evening meetings also favored the teams at the top of the table. Hoffenheim did not give details by beating Borussia Mönchengladbach 5-1 including a hat-trick from Kramaric. Christian Ilzer’s team moved up a place in the rankings and moved to 5th, two short lengths from 3rd place occupied by RB Leipzig.
