BL: Bayern overcomes Cologne, Leipzig and Hoffenheim keep pace

This 17th day of the Bundeslige in the middle of the week was not easy for Bayern Munich. Traveling to Cologne, the championship leader was first led by a goal from Maina (41st). The equalizer quickly came thanks to Gnabry on a service from Olise (45th + 5) but the victory took some time to take shape. Two goals scored by Min-Jae (71st) and Karl (84th) at the end of the match allowed the Bavarians to win 3-1 and take an 11-point lead over the runner-up, Borussia Dortmund.

The two evening meetings also favored the teams at the top of the table. Hoffenheim did not give details by beating Borussia Mönchengladbach 5-1 including a hat-trick from Kramaric. Christian Ilzer’s team moved up a place in the rankings and moved to 5th, two short lengths from 3rd place occupied by RB Leipzig. Ole Werner’s troops did not tremble this evening during the reception in Freiburg either. They won 2-0 with goals from Orban and Romulo Cardoso.
