Daniele De Rossi returned to the Olimpico as an opponent for the first time in his career, this time on the Genoa bench against “his” AS Roma. The former Giallorosso captain was welcomed by an atmosphere charged with emotion, between banners of the Curva Sud, commemorative videos and songs celebrating a player who left his mark on an entire generation of supporters.
Before kick-off, the stadium paid tribute to De Rossi, also greeted behind the scenes by Claudio Ranieri and Tiago Pinto.
