This is a new movement that is about to emerge in the Spanish capital. Thiago Almada, 24, currently under the orders of Diego Simeone, could soon leave Atletico de Madrid according to recent information from Sport. The winter transfer window is starting to come alive and an operation could take place between Naples and the Spanish club. The Italian management would have asked Atlético to obtain the loan of the young Argentinian for a period of six months, with a purchase option set at 25 million euros, in order to bring a second wind to its offensive sector in Serie A. Coming from Botafogo, and very popular in Spain, despite the strong competition opposing him among the Colchoneros, his contributions in attack could be a solution which is now being considered in Italy.

The Neapolitans are in third place in the league standings and remain just two points behind the leader, Inter Milan. This significant reinforcement would allow Antonio Conte’s men to go and tickle the Milanese, as a reminder the city’s other club, AC Milan, is also in front of them. It remains to be seen whether the Italian technician’s plans will change along the way. In midfield, many players are already at his disposal: Scott McTominay, Kevin De Bruyne, Matteo Politano and the Spaniard Miguel Gutiérrez.
