Christopher Nkunku is launching his adventure with AC Milan. Installed as a starter by Allegri for four matches, the French international (18 caps) had not made his first goal in Serie A an obsession. He finally came this Sunday against Hellas Verona. After Christian Pulisic opened the scoring on a corner taken by Luka Modríc and deflected by Adrien Rabiot (45th + 1st, 1-0), the former Parisian drove home the point from the penalty spot (48th, 2-0).
Barely five minutes later, he scored a double by perfectly following Modríc’s shot on the post (53rd, 3-0). Thanks to this success, AC Milan has a fifteenth consecutive match without defeat in Serie A, and temporarily regains the lead in the championship. Hellas Verona is 18th.
