This Saturday evening, Udinese hosted Lazio for the 17th day of Serie A, in a match between two teams seeking consistency in the standings. Aligned from the start on the Friulian side, Zaniolo tried to make an impact, while the Romans trusted former OGC Nice Reda Belahyane in the midfield. The first period, very closed, was marked by a glaring lack of rhythm and opportunities, the two teams neutralizing each other without any real danger.

Padlocked for a long time, the meeting finally came to a head in the final minutes. After a first period lacking in chances, Lazio ended up finding the opening in the 80th minute thanks to the experience of Matías Vecino, well served by Cancellieri. The Romans then tried to manage their lead, but Udinese pushed all the way and were rewarded in injury time. In the 95th minute, Keinan Davis snatched the equalizer, allowing the Friulians to save a valuable point at home. In the standings, this draw pushes Lazio back to 8th place, while Udinese climbs to 10th position.
