This Saturday, Arsenal had a great operation to make in the standings. Indeed, traveling to Bournemouth, the Gunners could take a six-point lead over their runner-up, Aston Villa. To do this, Mikel Arteta aligned his typical team. Opposite, Andoni Iraola’s men played hard and opened the scoring thanks to Evanilson, who exploited Gabriel’s error very well (1-0, 10th). Revengeful, the former Lille player made amends straight away by equalizing with a nice shot from the left (1-1, 16th).

Finally, Arsenal took off in the second half thanks to a valuable double from Declan Rice on two beautiful strikes from the right (54th, 71st). Despite the splendid reduction of the gap from Eli Junior Kroupi (2-3, 77th), Arsenal did not tremble and went for a precious success at the Vitality Stadium. Arsenal are six points ahead of Aston Villa, while Manchester City hosts Chelsea this Sunday (6:30 p.m.).
