The base camp of the French team for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada (June 11 to July 19) will indeed be located in Boston. The city benefits from all the tools necessary for a major competition, advantageous climatic conditions and a less significant time difference with France than on the west coast. “Boston notably offers an ideal geographical location which makes it possible to reduce travel times and the climatic conditions, at this time of year, are less impactful for organizations. The Blues will train at the Babson College facilities, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Boston, where they will be hosted.specifies the FFF press release.

The Blues will stay at the Four Seasons Hotel and will have access to the sports facilities of Babson College, located 30 minutes away. Didier Deschamps and his technical staff visited the premises during their visit to the United States after the World Cup draw before validating them. Another advantage is that the airport is only fifteen minutes away. Like the vast majority of delegations, France chose an establishment which was not in the FIFA catalog. The Tricolores are expected in Massachusetts six days before their first match against Senegal.
