Real Madrid welcomes Sevilla FC to the Santiago Bernabeu in the hope of putting pressure on Barça (a meeting to follow live with commentary on French Football Weekly from 9 p.m.). The Madrilenians are coming off a less than spectacular victory in the Copa del Rey against Talavera and must do better against the 9th in La Liga.

Xabi Alonso, whose position is more or less threatened, has formed a 4-3-3 in which we obviously find Mbappé in number 9. The captain of the Blues has the opportunity, if he scores, to equal the goal record in a calendar year for Real Madrid held by Cristiano Ronaldo. He is accompanied on the wings by Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo. Tchouaméni is present in the midfield and Asencio slides in as right back to replace Dani Carvajal who is still injured. For his part, Matias Almeyda uses a 3-5-2. We find in particular the French Batista Mendy and Agoumé in midfield. Alexis Sanchez starts alongside Isaac Romero.

The official compositions:

Real Madrid : Courtois – Asencio, Huijsen, Rüdiger, Fran Garcia – Tchouaméni, Güler, Bellingham – Rodrygo, Mbappé, Vinicius Jr

Seville: Odysseas – Carmona, Marcao, Gudelj – Juanlu, Mendy, Sow, Agoume, Suazo – Sanchez, Romero
