The 16th day of the Premier League continued this Sunday with four great posters scheduled for 3 p.m. On the pitch at Crystal Palace, Manchester City had to win after Arsenal’s success last night. Dominant in the game but jostled by the rapid attacks of the locals, the Skyblues finally relied on the inevitable Haaland, author of a beautiful header just before the break (0-1, 41st). Returning from the locker room, Pep Guardiola’s men finally secured their victory thanks to a nice goal from Foden on a serve from Cherki (0-2, 69th) and a penalty converted by Haaland in the final moments (0-3, 89th). A great operation for the Mancuniens, determined not to let the Gunners slip away.

In the other matches of the afternoon, Aston Villa, third at kick-off, offered themselves another victory at the end of a spectacular West Ham match (2-3) while Tottenham completely missed out on the Nottingham Forest pitch (0-3). Opposed to Sunderland, Newcastle also fell, weighed down by an own goal from the unfortunate Woltemade (46th, csc). In the standings, Manchester City is two short lengths behind Arsenal and ahead of Aston Villa, who complete the podium. At the bottom of the table, Wolves bring up the rear, West Ham are now 18th.
