Arriving in Bologna last summer for 17 million euros, former Marseillais Jonathan Rowe played 14 games for one goal and recently scored one of the decisive penalties in the series against Inter in the Italian Super Cup. Asked by La Repubblicahe looked back on his beginnings at Bologna and the differences he noticed between Ligue 1 and Serie A.
“Here, it is more difficult to score than in France or England. Many teams defend with a line of five. But there is no tactic that cannot be circumvented. The difference between my last two coaches? They are similar in their working method, but Italiano likes more vertical football, while De Zerbi works a lot on possession”Rowe explained.
