During the Parisian demonstration against Rennes (5-0) on Saturday at the Parc des Princes, Ibrahim Mbaye found the net for the first time in Ligue 1 this season. At only 17 years old, the Senegalese striker scored the penultimate goal of the evening with a superb curling strike (88th).
This achievement also allows PSG to further expand the range of its scorers. According to Opta, Paris now has 16 different players having scored this season in the Championship, a total significantly higher than that of other major teams in Europe. The capital club is ahead of Bayern Munich, Brighton and Lille, who each have 13 separate scorers in their league.
