Author of an exceptional first part of the season with Brentford, Igor Thiago, 24, was voted player of the month for November in the Premier League. The Brazilian scored 5 goals in the league in November, including two doubles against Burnley (3-1) and Newcastle (3-1), bringing his total to 11 goals in the Premier League and 12 in all competitions since the start of the season. His remarkable performances allowed him to stand out individually despite the complicated situation of his team, currently 14th in the championship.

After a prolific 2023-2024 season in Bruges (29 goals in all competitions), Igor Thiago experienced a slump during the previous year with Brentford, where he scored no goals. This year, he seems to have regained all his confidence and efficiency in front of goal, becoming the Bees’ main offensive asset since the departure of Bryan Mbeumo and confirming his status as a key player for Keith Andrews’ team.
