It is difficult to see why the Italian technician would change his mind in January, when Højbjerg has started 12 times in Ligue 1 and 5 times (in 6 days) in the Champions League. De Zerbi’s current problem is more about finding the identity of the right environment to support Højbjerg.
However, as reported La Gazzetta dello SportJuve wants to insist and Damien Comolli, the French boss of the Old Lady, will indeed try to recruit him. The Piedmontese club had already approached the player when he played at Tottenham and contact was never broken. That said, if OM remains inflexible (Højbjerg is under contract until 2028), then Juve will be forced to turn to other solutions.
