AC Milan tries its luck for Niclas Füllkrug

After a monstrous 2023-2024 season in Dortmund accompanied by 15 goals and 10 assists, the transfer of Niclas Füllkrug to West Ham does not seem to have borne fruit. The German international joined the English club for 27 million euros but he only played 8 games in the Premier League and 1 in the EFL Cup for no goals or assists in either competition. At the age of 32, it is not impossible that the Hanover native will make a new start in Serie A.

According to the Daily MailAC Milan is intensifying its efforts to recruit him, but no agreement has yet been reached between the two clubs. The Italian club are looking for a striker and he is one of several suitors by Füllkrug, alongside Bundesliga clubs like Wolfsburg. West Ham is ready to listen to offers, but would like a return on investment of €27 million, in order to strengthen its offensive sector in January. The Rossoneri are expected to offer a loan with an option to buy, which may not suit West Ham’s demands.
