Jamie Carragher has rekindled criticism of Mohamed Salah, in a context where the Egyptian striker was not selected for Liverpool’s C1 match against Inter Milan. The former Anfield defender did not mince his words, denouncing Salah’s social media posts and his behavior in recent weeks. Speaker on CBS Sportshe declared before the match: “I really hope they win tonight. I already gave my opinion last night and I do not wish to return to this subject. But I was a little frustrated seeing this post today”. A photo of Salah who is alone in a gym in Liverpool.

The 47-year-old former Liverpool player insisted it was legitimate frustration, but the player’s responsibility: “We all feel this frustration. But when you look at the coach and there are people who say: “oh, he should bring him in”, without taking into account the context…” Carragher believes, like many, that Salah was wrong with this statement and that this victory clearly shows that Slot’s team no longer depends on him.
