Real Madrid: Raúl’s confidences about his future

Real Madrid icon Raúl González Blanco spent most of his career there, playing 741 matches and scoring 323 goals. Once his playing career ended, after short stints in Germany, Qatar and the United States, the ex-Spain international (102 caps, 44 goals) took the reins of Real Madrid Castilla in 2019 until his departure earlier this year.

In a daily interview A.S.he has not hidden his desire to eventually return to the club that revealed him. “Now I want to take advantage of this moment, while waiting for a good project to come along and, in the medium or long term, return to my home, where I want to be and everyone knows it”he assured. Raúl remains an essential figure of the Merengues, respected and admired by all generations of Madrid supporters.
