Bayern Munich cried a lot after the three-match sanction imposed on Luis Diaz after his red card received against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League (2-1). And the Bavarian club has obviously done well. Sent off after his tackle from behind on Achraf Hakimi, the Colombian winger was suspended for three matches. This Friday, Bayern announces that UEFA has agreed to reduce its sanction.

“Luis Díaz’s Champions League suspension has been reduced from three to two games. Díaz received a red card during the Champions League group stage match between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (2-1). UEFA initially suspended the winger for three Champions League matches. Bayern Munich appealed the decision, and their appeal was accepted on Friday. The suspension is therefore reduced to two Champions League matches, meaning that Díaz will only miss the home match against Sporting Lisbon next Tuesday, December 9. The Colombian will then be able to return to the squad for the match against Union Saint-Gilloise at the start of next year.indicates the German club on its official website.
