Parma leaves the Garibaldi Arena with a precious victory thanks to a single goal scored from the penalty spot by Adrian Benedyczak in the 40th minute. The young striker did not tremble when converting the foul obtained in the area, putting his team in front just before the break. Pisa, although well established in the game, never managed to convert its situations, regularly stumbling against a disciplined and perfectly organized Parmesan block.

The second half was more choppy, and the Tuscans saw their last hopes evaporate in added time with a gesture of humor from M’Bala Nzola, penalized for violent behavior in the 90+3rd minute. Despite a late push, Alberto Gilardino’s men could not find the fault. More realistically, Parma has three points that will count, while Pisa will have to quickly get back into working order.
