Former OM Marcelino elected coach of the month in La Liga

If his time at OM at the start of the 2023/2024 season did not last very long, Marcelino Garcia Toral’s second adventure at Villarreal is a total success. The Yellow Submarine is in third place in La Liga, just two points behind the leader, FC Barcelona. An incredible performance considering the difference in budgets between the clubs, especially since Villarreal lost several quality players like Alex Baena and Yeremy Pino last summer.

And Marcelino has just been voted best coach of the month for November in La Liga. An eleventh month of the year during which his team simply won its four matches played in the league. Marcelino thus beat Diego Simeone and Hansi Flick in the votes.
