Arsenal are preparing for the future. According to ESPNthe Gunners have reached an agreement with young Ecuadorian footballers Edwin and Holger Quintero. Aged 16 and twins, they will return to London when they turn 18, in August 2027, to sign their professional contract. Both players currently play at Independiente del Valle, the club where Piero Hincapié and Moisés Caicedo were trained before joining Europe. Edwin plays as a right winger, while Holger is an attacking midfielder.
The London band has been following the two brothers for over a year. The twins are currently in the English capital to finalize the deal. Arsenal had recently secured another 16-year-old talent, Victor Ozhianvuna, from Shamrock Rovers, who will also arrive in January 2027 when he comes of age.
