Since Messi in 2005, no Golden Boy winner has managed to do the double by winning the Ballon d’Or later in their career. Kylian Mbappé, Pedri or even Lamine Yamal will perhaps achieve it one day, like Désiré Doué, winner this year of the trophy rewarding the best young footballer in Europe. Present at the media day organized by PSG this Thursday at its training center, the French international indicated that he is not making the Ballon d’Or an obsession… even if this trophy does not leave him indifferent.

“I am very happy to have won the Golden Boy, it comes from the collective performances first of all. The Ballon d’Or? If we win big trophies at club and national team, maybe one day we can have other individual trophies, but I focus on collective performances before talking about individual trophies.he indicated.
