Thiago Silva’s sons are definitely on track to follow in their father’s footsteps. Last October, Iago Silva (14 years old, defender) was called up to the English U15s. Today, it is his big brother Isago (17 years old, defender) who stands out with the signing of his first professional contract with the Blues.

Aged 17, he has been with the Blues since joining us ahead of the under-13 season. Since then, he has become a versatile and reliable defender, comfortable as both a left-back and a central defender. During the 2024/25 season, while playing at U16 level, Isago Silva made his U18 debut against Leicester City. This season he featured in the thrilling match which ended in a 3-3 draw against Sheffield United in the U18 Premier League Cup. He also made three appearances in our U17 Premier League Cup campaign.
