Paris Saint-Germain faces Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League this Wednesday (9 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the capital club.

It is with a starting eleven more in line with its status than the

Paris Saint-Germain approaches the end of the year 2025, synonymous with all the successes. The Parisian infirmary is gradually emptying, and Luis Enrique was able to recover a few players, starting with Ousmane Dembélé.

There is this strange impression that the 2025-26 France Football Ballon d’Or season has not really started. The French international was managed and had to settle for 20 minutes against Rennes on Saturday (5-0), but he is again out of this trip.

PSG should be structured around its usual 4-3-3, in which the Vitinha-Joao Neves-Fabian Ruiz trio plays a fundamental role. The 2 Portuguese and the Spaniard are also expected at the start of this meeting in Basque lands, as are Kvaratskhelia and Barcola, striking and decisive at the Park on Saturday. Mayulu and Kang-in Lee are being considered for the role of false number 9.

Safonov will continue the interim

In defense, the absence of Achraf Hakimi allows Warren Zaire-Emery to gain minutes and confidence. The Parisian titi scores points, too, and should continue on this right side which he is starting to tame. Nuno Mendes is expected on the left flank after a remarkable start to the European campaign.

Finally, the titular hinge Marquinhos-Pacho should be lined up at kick-off in front of Safonov, expected in the Parisian goals to continue his good interim.

The expected lineup for PSG : Chevalier – Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes – Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz – Barcola, Mayulu (or Lee), Kvaratskhelia.
