A Bayern Munich player since 2011, Manuel Neuer is embarking on his fifteenth season with the Bavarian club. But the German goalkeeper is not eternal and at 39 years old, the end of his adventure in Bavaria is drawing near. And to succeed him, the 2014 world champion thinks that his young teammate Jonas Urbig (22 years old) is one of the candidates.

“It’s a real pleasure to work together within our group of goalkeepers. He has no problem succeeding me and he will without a doubt do so. He has the unwavering support of Sven (Ulreich, editor’s note) and mine. We make a good team. We support each other on a daily basis and we always strive to push our limits to raise the level even further. He has already proven in matches that he is capable of it and he will continue this momentum.he told Sky Germany.
