In Hamburg, time was getting long for a public who had not tasted success for five matches. A series which finally ended this Sunday, at the cost of relentless efforts from their players, reduced to 10, but falling to the character of Stuttgart, 6th in the Bundesliga (2-1).
Hamburg first led the score thanks to a goal from Robert Glatzel (17th, 1-0) after magnificent work from young Alexander Rossing-Lelesiit (18 years old)… the same Glatzel and the same Rossing-Lelesiit who were respectively going out with injury and expulsion later in the match. For Stuttgart, the spark came as often from Deniz Undav, author of 8 goals in his last four matches (54th, 1-1). But in the final moments of the match, the player on loan from Arsenal, Fabio Vieira, gave his team the victory (90+4th, 2-1). A very important success for HSV, which climbs to 13th place in the Bundesliga. Stuttgart remains 6th.
