A Liverpool FC executive has expressed his dismay after the latest defeat against PSV Eindhoven at Anfield.

This Wednesday evening, Liverpool lost for the third time in a row against PSV Eindhoven (1-4). A new defeat at home which plunges the club definitively into crisis, despite a particularly ambitious transfer window.

If the future of Arne Slot on the Reds bench could be threatened, the uneasiness is palpable among the English champions. As proof, we take Curtis Jones’ lively reaction at the end of the meeting.

The scathing reaction after the defeat

During his time in the mixed zone, the English midfielder did not mince his words when asked to comment on his team’s performance. In his eyes, Liverpool are going through an almost unprecedented situation.

“I’m a fan, and I’ve known this club forever. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Liverpool go through a period like this, with results like this. But we still wear this coat of arms. And as long as he is there, we will fight. We will do everything to bring this team back to the top, to show everyone again what this club represents and why it is considered the best team in the world. But for now, we’re in trouble and that has to change.”Jones said.
