On Saturday, a white march was organized in memory of Mehdi Kessaci. This young man aged 20 was murdered in Marseilleon the Claudi Darcy roundabout, by two men on a motorbike. A murder which resembles a settling of scores, while his brother, Amine Kessaci was an anti-drug activist.
If this white march reinforced the emotion after this tragedy, the absence of certain personalities linked to Marseille generated a controversy, which some would consider inappropriate, when it is not assimilated to a form of political recovery. Journalist Apolline de Malherbe directly spoke to emblematic faces of the Marseille city.
Apolline de Malherbe castigates Zidane and Marseille media personalities
Zinédine Zidane was not spared by the BFM TV interviewer, just like the rappers Jul and Soprano, or the comedian
Redouane Bougheraba. “OWhere were the figures of Marseille, Jul, Soprano, Zidane, Redouane Bougheraba? Imagine for a second if they had been there, in the front row, surrounding the Kessaci family? How strong that would have been. Why this silence? I watch their social networks, and… nothing“, wrote the journalist. An outing that caused a reaction on the web.
