Paris Saint-Germain is out this Wednesday evening. The capital club welcomes Tottenham for the fifth day of the Champions League league phase (9 p.m.). The Parisian group has been revealed and Renato Marin does not appear there. The third goalkeeper had a small scare during training. He is replaced by Martin James.

It’s not an absence that will upset Luis Enrique’s plans, but this package from Renato Marin is still something new since the former AS Roma player was on the PSG bench during the first four days of C1. As indicated by L’Équipe this Wednesday morning, Marin would have felt discomfort during training.

The goalkeeper’s unavailability period is minimal and for the moment estimated at just one week. In any case, it is the opportunity for the very young Martin James (seventeen years old) to discover the Champions League from the sidelines. He remains the third goalkeeper behind the usual starter, Lucas Chevalier, and his current substitute, Matveï Safonov.

PSG must react to Tottenham

Facing Spurs, PSG is looking for redemption. After his three initial victories against Atlanta Bergamo (4-0), FC Barcelona (1-2) and Bayer Leverkusen (2-7), he was stopped at home by Bayern Munich on November 4 (1-2). With nine points on the clock, Paris currently occupies seventh place in the provisional ranking.

Ousmane Dembélé is present in the group. His tenure is currently quite unlikely. Luis Enrique could opt for a Barcola-Kvaratskhelia-Lee attacking trio.
