Paul Pogba has become a football player again. After more than two years without playing, the 32-year-old French international made his comeback on the green rectangle last Saturday in Ligue 1, during AS Monaco’s heavy defeat in Rennes (4-1).
Coming into play in the 85th minute, the “Pioche” received a magnificent ovation from the crowd at Roazhon Park. A moment he won’t soon forget. “ I had an unforgettable evening. Returning to the field after two years of absence is so important to me that I can’t express it,” wrote Paul Pogba on his Instagram account after the meeting.
And to add: “ To the fans: thank you for the love, energy and trust, he added. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported, encouraged and pushed me every step of the way. This beginning wasn’t just mine…it belonged to everyone who never stopped supporting me. »
Pogba will continue
And clearly, Paul Pogba is ready to continue.
