Olympique de Marseille have found their rhythm in Ligue 1. After a chaotic start to the season, the team coached by Roberto De Zerbi is now keeping up with the pace set by Paris Saint-Germain. And if the Phocaeans succeed, it is in particular because they are intractable in front of the opposing goal. In 2025, OM has one of the best European attacks.
According to calculations carried out by Opta, Olympique de Marseille is even ranked third among the most prolific teams in terms of goals on the European scene. In front, Bayern Munich is almost untouchable with its 93 goals. Next comes FC Barcelona with 87 achievements. Then it’s the turn of OM, which has reached 75 goals since January 1, 2025.
The Marseille club is tied with Paris Saint-Germain who have also scored 75 times. The Top 5 is completed by Manchester City which is quite far behind with 64 goals. OM can count on the efficiency of its scorers, notably Mason Greenwood who on Friday evening became the third player in OM history to reach the thirty-goal mark most quickly since his arrival (since the 1947-1948 season).
OM, a hell of an offensive force
It took the Englishman 46 games to achieve this. He ranks behind Gunnar Andersson (34 matches) and Josip Skoblar (38). Friday, Mason Greewood scored a double during Marseille’s defeat against Nice (1-5). Five goals in a match, OM achieved this performance six times in 2025. Here again it is better (and even twice better) than Manchester City, PSG and Bayern Munich.
Concerning the 2025-2026 financial year, Marseille has the best attack with 33 goals already scored. Its first pursuer in this area is PSG which has 27. Then come Monaco (25) and Strasbourg (24).
