Noa Lang can feel liberated. The Dutch striker scored his first goal with Napoli in the 3-1 victory against Atalanta on Saturday in Serie A. After the match, the former PSV Eindhoven felt that this achievement could mark a personal turning point after a complicated period, during which he had to redouble his efforts to meet expectations.

“I’m happy to have scored my first goal, it was very important. For me it was a difficult time: there were high expectations around me and I had to work hard. Now I look forward, the best is yet to come: this is only the beginning”he declared. Just before, he also congratulated the double scorer of the evening, David Neres, who had not scored a goal for eleven months. “Very happy for my brother. He deserves it. We have a very good relationship”he explained.
