FC Nantes and FC Lorient parted back to back this Sunday at La Beaujoire, in a match counting for the 13th round of the French championship (1-1).

While the Merlus struck first on a controversial csc from Awaziem – a Lorient offside position on this action not having been retained by the refereeing body (45th+1) – the same Awaziem managed to equalize for the Canaries at the very end of the match (90th+1).

The two clubs thus remain stuck in 15th and 16th ranks respectively, on either side of the red zone, in the same unit.
