The French goalkeeper therefore lost yet another decisive match after a penalty shootout, an exercise for which he is unfortunately renowned for his vulnerability. “I want to be honest, I came to MLS because I still want to enjoy playing football. I was delighted to see a full stadium for the conference semi-final, but I find playing on an artificial pitch like this almost unacceptable,” complained the international tricolor.

And Hugo Lloris continued: “I think MLS and the owner of Vancouver should think about it because we all love football and I think this crowd and this stadium deserves a better pitch. Even in the lower divisions in France there are better synthetic pitches than this. We can improve this for MLS.”
In the final of MLSthe Vancouver Whitecaps will face San Diego or Minnesota. The Eastern Conference semi-final will be held on the night of Monday to Tuesday.
