Long hoped for, now sealed, Endrick’s loan to Olympique Lyonnais is coming to an end.

Olympique Lyonnais is preparing to complete one of the biggest blows of the winter transfer window. A little over a month before the official opening, the Endrick file finally seems to be sealed. As revealed by Matteo Moretto in the podcast Despierta San Franciscocomments relayed by A.S.the Brazilian striker is heading to Lyon for a loan already considered practically concluded.

OL and Real Madrid are sorting out the final details, but everything indicates that the player will wear the Lyon jersey from January. The journalist wants to be formal regarding the state of the discussions.
“The Endrick-Lyon agreement is 100% finalized, and the transfer between Real Madrid and Lyon is 99.9% complete”he assures.

According to Moretto, the agreement between OL and the player has been in place for a long time, allowing the different parties to approach the transfer window without loss of time. The file also takes the form of a loan without purchase option, Real Madrid absolutely wishing to recover its jewel in the long term.

A salary of 300,000 euros

Clauses could even allow the Spanish club to recall Endrick in the event of an injury to a Madrid striker during the winter. The sharing of his salary, estimated at 300,000 euros per month, as well as compensation paid for the loan are still among the last points to be resolved.

For Endrick, this Lyon adventure is shaping up to be an express springboard. The young center forward wants to find playing time after complicated months at Real Madrid, where Xabi Alonso no longer really counts on him. The objective is clear: to shine in Ligue 1 for six months in order to convince the Brazilian coach that he deserves a place in the national group on the sidelines of the 2026 World Cup.
