Stade Brestois scored a major victory at the expense of FC Metz this Sunday for the 13th act of Ligue 1.
While the Messins came back twice with a goal from Tsitaishvili (6th) and a goal from Coulibaly (79th), the Bretons forced their destiny, seeing Mboup (2nd), Doumbia (48th) and Del Castillo (90th+10) as their heroes of the day.
The latter, author of the winning goal from the penalty spot, had missed another penalty five minutes earlier. A sign that the Garnets have stretched out their stick to be beaten this weekend.
After three successes in a row, Metz therefore gives in and remains 17th, however at the height of the waterline. Brest, for its part, takes two steps ahead of its opponent of the day and settles in 14th place.
