TF1 has obtained the TV rights for a very prestigious event.

While Canal + has obtained the TV rights to all European cups for the coming seasons, the prestigious Champions League will also be on another major French channel.

According to information from L’Equipe, TF1 will provide coverage of the Champions League final from the 2027-28 season.

The group has obtained the TV rights to this major event for the period 2027-2031. A very big blow for the future of TF1, the official and historic broadcaster of the France team.

TF1 coverage will also allow the public to watch this match unencrypted. This was already the case during the last decisions. This season, the event generated huge audience peaks on M6, which benefited from the Paris Saint-Germain epic.
