A successful evening in more than one way for Naples this evening. Beaten by Bologna just before the break (2-0), the Partenopei got their heads back together this Saturday by winning against Atalanta, as part of the 12th day of Serie A. A success which already counts, since it allows Antonio Conte’s players to temporarily take the reins of the championship.

Other good news: the first goals of the season from David Neres and Noa Lang. The first opened the scoring by overtaking the Bergamo defense after a deep service from Hojlund (17th). He returned to action twenty minutes later in the role of a real finisher. He crossed his shot with first intention on a clever serve from McTominay in the area (38th). Noa Lang made the decision with a header from a superb cross from Di Lorenzo at the far post (45th) while Scamacca reduced the gap with a spectacular recovery after returning from the locker room (52nd). Naples is leader, Atalanta is 13th.
