Bologna continues its rise in power by clearly winning in Udine (0-3). Vincenzo Italiano’s team broke in five minutes thanks to Tommaso Pobega’s double (54th, 59th), before Federico Bernardeschi finished off the Friulian hopes in added time (90th + 4). Technically dominant, the visitors perfectly controlled the proceedings at Bluenergy Stadium. Kosta Runjaić’s Udinese, too fragile defensively despite some flashes from Zaniolo, were never able to reverse the trend. The Rossoblu temporarily climb onto the podium.

The duel between Cagliari and Genoa offered a crazy scenario at the Unipol Domus, ending with a spectacular (3-3). Daniele De Rossi’s Rossoblù thought they would hold on to victory thanks to goals from Vítinha (18th), Østigård (41st) and Aarón Martín (83rd), but Cagliari responded with panache. Carried by a Gennaro Borrelli in a state of grace, author of a double (33rd, 60th), the Sardinians were also able to count on Sebastiano Esposito (43rd) to stay in contact in an open and intense meeting. Under the direction of Federico La Penna, the two teams delivered a rhythmic clash, symbol of a lively Serie A afternoon.
