The TV rights landscape will experience a major upheaval from 2027 in England. Indeed, Paramount+ won the main rights to the Champions League for an amount exceeding 1 billion pounds (nearly 1.133 billion euros), replacing TNT Sportshistoric broadcaster since 2015. Europa League and Conference League matches will be broadcast on Sky Sportswhile the BBC will keep the Champions League summaries. Amazon Prime will keep priority in choosing the Tuesday evening matches, Paramount taking the Wednesday one as well as the exclusivity of the final. This redistribution of rights marks the end of the era CBS Sportsincluding Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher, and requires British viewers to increase their subscriptions to follow all the competitions.

Sky Sports thus returns to European competitions for the first time since the 2014-2015 season, with the Europa League and the Conference League. TNT Sports loses all of its European rights, but retains the Premier League and the FA Cup until 2029. While in France, it is Canal+ which has retained the TV rights for the C1 (2027-2031).
