Sporting director Igli Tare has met with Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi and they are reportedly willing to offer Lewandowski a contract for more than a year, to allow him to retire at the peak of his fame. Although Barcelona may want to part ways with Lewandowski, until they have guarantees over their budget, they will not want to cut ties with him.
