In recent months, Harry Kane has been announced by the Spanish side, and more precisely by FC Barcelona.

However, Real Madrid have also long been interested in the Bayern Munich superstar, who could leave the club next summer.

FC Barcelona sees in Kane the ideal successor to Robert Lewandowski, whose departure is planned at the end of the season, when his contract expires. The latter reportedly has a release clause of 65 million euros in his contract with Bayern, a sum that the Catalans could be able to pay if they improve their financial situation in the coming months.

A return to the Premier League has also been mooted for Kane

A return to the Premier League has also been mooted for Kane, but according to former footballer Chris Waddle (via Diario AS), the England international is expected to consider a move to La Liga.

“I know the idea of Kane returning to Tottenham sounds good. But I doubt Spurs want him at this age and price. Even if another club was interested, I don’t know if Bayern would let him go. They let Lewandowski join Barcelona at the same age, and he went on to score goals.

“Harry may think he has already accomplished his mission in England, and he may think the same of Germany. Spain, Italy or France could then attract him. Bayern is a big club, but Real Madrid is even bigger. What a story that would be! If I were Real Madrid, Barcelona or Milan, I would ask myself: why not Kane? He scores goals, he is technically very strong and he can play up front or in the middle.

“If I were Harry, I would take my chances in Spain rather than return to England. A good goalscoring record would be nice, but his career in England speaks for itself. »

The arrival of Kane would be a masterstroke for Barcelona.

As was the case for Lewandowski in 2022, there is no doubt that the recruitment of Kane by Barcelona would be an excellent operation. The Catalan club could count on him for at least two exceptional seasons, and if he leads them to one or two Champions League titles, his transfer would be worth well over 65 million euros.
