This Monday, Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé are heard by the industrial tribunal to resolve their dispute. As a reminder, the clan of the captain of the Blues and the capital club have had a huge dispute since the player left for Real Madrid in 2024, free of any contract. The Mbappé clan should demand €240 million from PSG as “damages following the harm suffered after his departure in the summer of 2024”while the European Champions are demanding €180 million from Kylian Mbappé, whom they accuse of “having lied to them by promising that he would not leave free of any contract”.
And while the hearing has just resumed, Maître Cassereau, Kylian Mbappé’s lawyer, explained the relations which deteriorated between the player and his former club, during his pleading. She explains “a depth of methods that are akin to a Scorsese film. PSG believes itself to be above everything”. Before adding that “PSG has an obsession: preventing the player from leaving free”he who had extended two seasons to the summer of 2022, with an optional year “mentioned in the contract which was a promise made by the club, which the player would be free to accept or not”.
