The Netherlands finished the job brilliantly this Monday at the expense of Lithuania, winning 4-0 in Amsterdam to officially validate their ticket for the 2026 World Cup.

Reijnders (16th), Gakpo (58th from penalty), Simons (60th) and Malen (62nd) allowed the Batavians to achieve this little festival while the Oranje selection was mathematically well on its way to securing its place across the Atlantic next summer.

The Dutch are thus ahead of the Poles who fell at the same time to Malta (2-3) and forced to go through the roadblocks.
