England completed its perfect run in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. This Sunday, for their last pule match, the Three Lions won (0-2) on the field of Albania, maintaining an impressive invincibility and above all a completely clean sheet: 22 goals scored and 0 conceded since the start of qualifying.

The hero of the evening was no surprise. Harry Kane, the English captain, continues to raise his level with each outing and asserts himself as a serious candidate for the future Ballon d’Or.

In the 74th minute, Kane opened the scoring by taking a corner perfectly taken by Bukayo Saka, before doubling the lead in the 81st, this time with a header from a Marcus Rashford cross. Two achievements which bring his total to 30 goals and assists already this season, in all competitions, and only in mid-November.

Kane’s England favorite at the World Cup?

The Bayern Munich player, already impressive with his club, seems more determined than ever to lead his country to the top. With Kane in this state of form, England can legitimately position themselves among the favorites for the next World Cup. His ability to influence the game, score and create chances makes him a formidable weapon, capable of turning any match around.

In a group where defensive solidity and offensive efficiency have so far combined perfectly, the Three Lions can dream big with Kane at the top of his game.
