Toni Kroos doesn’t hold his tongue in his pocket. Retired from the field since 2024, the German continues to regularly give his opinion on football. This Thursday, he was invited to speak about Arda Güler by the Cadena SER. And according to him, the Turk is not at all his successor at Real Madrid. “He’s a different player from me. His best position is clearly more offensive, so he is absolutely not my successor. I’m delighted that he’s getting significantly more playing time this year, because he’s earned it on the pitch and he’s a player we can count on for the future.”

A clear opinion from the former Real Madrid player, who however loves the relationship between Kylian Mbappé and Arda Güler. “He has an exceptional touch on the ball, which he has already been able to exploit brilliantly this season. I’m delighted because he’s a good guy and I had the chance to play with him. I am sure that he will mark the history of Real Madrid for many years to come.” Words that will undoubtedly please the person concerned.
