Last Friday, Orelsan’s fifth studio album “La Fuse en Avant” was released. 58,556 copies of this project were sold during its first week of operation.

Unsurprisingly, the 43-year-old artist is positioned at the top of the charts. In detail, the rapper/singer has sold 32,393 physical copies (55.3% of the total), generated 907 downloads, to which are added 25,256 equivalents linked to streaming.

This is obviously a very good score. However, for Orelsan, the record company should probably have expected a better result. Four years earlier, the member of the group Casseurs Flowters had sold 94,306 copies of his album “Civilization” in just three days.

Mbappé did not boost Orelsan’s sales

The wait was therefore enormous for this new opos. On it appears the title “The Little Voice”. A piece in which the artist castigates the Mbappé clan. Which led to an improbable cash, from which the captain of the France team did not come out of it.

“Nothing to say… I’m not interested…”the Real Madrid striker simply replied, when a journalist questioned him this week at a press conference on this subject. The poor interpretation of the captain of the French team will therefore ultimately not have boosted the sales of the Caennais that much. Which had preferred to procrastinate.
